Preparing for your RainLight Photo Session

What you need to know

Our goal is to create a bare minimum of 20 jaw-dropping images from your RainLight photo session. Freestyle your own pose ideas and/or try some of ours. Dance, play, do gymnastics.

Note: The water temperature will be about 108°F, like a comfortable shower.

Bring:

  • Three towels per person
  • Bag for wet clothes/towels
  • Change of dry clothes

Clothing:

It’s best to wear a solid bright colored outfit. Intricate patterns don’t show up well on camera. We know people love black, however since we’re shooting against a black background, we recommend at least one outfit in a bright color with no patterns. Simple leotards, booty shorts and tops, workout gear, performance outfits, or sports uniforms look great.

Makeup:

Makeup is optional, but if you use it, be sure it’s waterproof!

PLEASE DO NOT WEAR OR APPLY BODY OILS, LOTIONS, CREAMS, OR PERFUMES BEFORE YOUR SESSION

Hair:

When we “turn on the rain” the hair goes wet ‘n wild. If you’d prefer a more controlled look consider pulling your hair back in a ponytail or a bun.

Props:

Remember to bring any props you need to complete your look.

Moves/Poses:

We want your list of moves/poses on a piece of paper so we can check them off as we go. Come with a written list of 15 gorgeous moves or poses you would love to see.

Music:

We will have a classic rock station playing. As another option, you are welcome to bring your favorite music and a charged Bluetooth speaker, if you have one.
